 day\, June 25th from 9:00 am- 3:30 pm at the Kuumba Cafe\, 274 E Keefe Ave
 \, Milwaukee\, Wisconsin 53212.\n\nLearners will complete a two hour\, sel
 f paced online learning component before the training and participate in a
  6-hour\, instructor-led online training on June 25th. Deadline to registe
 r is June 19th at noon. \n\nYouth Mental Health First Aid is designed to t
 each parents\, family members\, caregivers\, teachers\, school staff\, pee
 rs\, neighbors\, health and human services workers\, and other caring citi
 zens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who might be experiencing a men
 tal health challenge or is in crisis. \n\nYouth Mental Health First Aid is
  primarily designed for adults who regularly interact with young people. T
 he course introduces common mental health challenges for youth\, reviews t
 ypical adolescent development\, and teaches a 5-step action plan for how t
 o help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Topics cover
 ed include anxiety\, depression\, substance use\, disorders in which psych
 osis may occur.\n\nThe training will be hosted by YMHFA Certified Instruct
 or Cecilia Eva Tenorio\, Mental Health and Wellness Coordinator at Communi
 ty Advocates Public Policy Institute. For any additional questions or if y
 ou would like to set up a meeting to discuss details and logistics of the
