 as provided opportunities for healing and hope since 2017\, but the intern
 ational observance is marking its 25th anniversary this year. \n\n<b>The R
 ISE Drug Free MKE coalition\, formerly MCSAP\, is gathering overdose survi
 vors and loved ones affected by overdose to events that honor the personal
  and community impact of the overdose epidemic.</b>\n\nEvents in Veterans 
 Park include a resource fair\, a community walk\, speakers\, free food\, a
  memorial space\, candle ceremony\, and watching the Hoan Bridge light up 
 purple in honor of everyone who has been touched by overdose. \n\n5 – 6 pm
 : Registration and staffed resource tables (T-shirt\, passport\, and food 
 ticket) \n5:45 – 6 pm: Speakers\n6 – 7:30 pm: 1-mile community walk and un
 staffed resource tables  \n6:30 – 7:30 pm: Food  and memorial space\n7:30 
 pm: Candle Ceremony \n8 pm: Light the Hoan \n\n<b>These events are free an
 d open to the public\, but registration is appreciated. If you are partici
 pating in the memorial walk\, you must register and sign a waiver to parti
