ge 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or i
s in crisis.\n\nThe course introduces common mental health challenges for
youth\, reviews typical adolescent development\, and teaches a 5-step acti
on plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situati
ons.\n\nTopics covered include:\n+ Anxiety\n+ Depression\n+ Substance use
\n+ Disorders in which psychosis may occur\n+ Disruptive behavior disorder
s (including AD/HD)\n+ Eating disorders\n\nWe're offering this session
FREE of charge as part of Light & Unite Red Week\, when dozens of partners
across Milwaukee County join forces to promote healthy\, drug- and alcoho
l-free living and support our community members who are improving their li
ves by remaining free of substance use and achieving holistic wellness. Re
