 er training must be completed as well in order for attendees to obtain cer
 tification. Registration ends March 12 at 12 noon.</b>\n\nYouth Mental Hea
 lth First Aid is designed to teach parents\, family members\, caregivers\,
  teachers\, school staff\, peers\, neighbors\, health and human services w
 orkers\, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) w
 ho might be experiencing a mental health challenge or is in crisis.\n\nYou
 th Mental Health First Aid is primarily designed for adults who regularly 
 interact with young people. The course introduces common mental health cha
 llenges for youth\, reviews typical adolescent development\, and teaches a
  5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-cr
 isis situations. Topics covered include anxiety\, depression\, substance u
 se\, disorders in which psychosis may occur\, disruptive behavior disorder
 s (including AD/HD)\, and eating disorders.\n\nThe training will be hosted
  by YMHFA Certified Instructor Cecilia Eva Tenorio\, Mental Health and Wel
 lness Coordinator at Community Advocates Public Policy Institute. For any 
 additional questions or if you would like to set up a meeting to discuss d
 etails and logistics of the training\, please email Cecilia Tenorio at cte
