South Shore Resource Fair

This family orientated event is hosted by the St. Francis School District and South Shore CARES. South Shore CARES is a substance use prevention, harm reduction, and mental health promotion initiative of the Cudahy, Oak Creek, and South Milwaukee/St. Francis Health Departments. They invite families from all four communities to attend. RISE Drug Free MKE will be there with resources and information.

+5:00 - Doors open
+5:30 - 6:30 Hear from St. Francis High School student group - "Rise Above the Cloud" on how to be an askable/approachable adult. A panel discussion consisting of various community experts on substance use and mental health will follow the student discussion.
+6:45 - 8:00 PM Receive a brief Narcan (naloxone) training and receive 1 box of nasal Narcan, learn from the St. Francis Police Department about how teens may conceal vaping, marijuana, and other substances (adults only), and visit 25+ vendor tables of organizations who specialize in mental health, substance use treatment, and other supportive services.
+Attendees will have the opportunity to be entered to win a variety of gift cards totaling $300
+Students from National Honors Society will be available to supervise children in a designated area
